Facility Manager

Donna Tanner

Donna has been an integral part of Taralga for over 10 years, now leading and overseeing the operations of the facility with dedicated care and compassion ensuring our staff are supported and residents feel at home. 

Clinical Manager

Our Clinical Team led by the Clinical Manager is made up of trained and skilled Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Carers with medication competencies. A doctor is on call and visits regularly, as well as contracted Allied Health Providers such as Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, Speech Therapist, Dietician, Psychologist and Optometrist to support the health & wellbeing of our residents.

​Candice had worked in Nursing, Aged Care and compliance for many years before bringing her experience, knowledge and skills to Taralga leading our Clinical Cares teams to provide our residents the best care.

Care Staff

Our Care Team is made up of trained and skilled Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Diversional Therapists and Personal Carers. Our carers provide a range of support services to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities such as assisting with personal cares, supporting resident choices and dignity of risk, and recreational activities creating a positive environment that enhances the wellbeing of our residents.

Kitchen 

House Services

Guided by the Kitchen Manager, our wonderful team of cooks, kitchen hands and Meals on Wheels staff provide freshly prepared delicious nutritious meals to our residents and clients. Taralga has been awarded in the Top 5 of Qld for Food Satisfaction in 2024 & 2025 as voted by consumer surveys.  

Our House Services team covers our diligent Cleaning Attendants, Laundry Attendants, Maintenance and Grounds Staff keeping our facility and home running efficiently in good order. 

Volunteers

Taralga would not be the place it is, without our wonderful volunteers! From fundraising funds, assisting resident activities, helping keep our facility clean and presentable, ensuring our landscaped grounds stay in ship-shape or making sure events run smoothly we appreciate all of our volunteers time and effort!
