"We want to support our residents to have access to the activities and supports that allow them to live the life they choose."

Health Care & Allied Health Services
In addition to access to a doctor on call 24/7, we arrange a General Practioner to visit weekly for consultations. A Physiotherapist visits weekly and Podiatrist visits monthly.
Other allied health services such as dietician, speech pathologist, occupational therapist, and diabetic educators can also be arranged for consults.
Community Engagement

Taralga is part of a small rural community that brings strengths and opportunities only a country town can bring. We look out for one another and have built strong relationships with many local community groups.

An example being our collaborations with the students from Jandowae P-10 State School for activities such as Book Week, Easter Parade, Reading Month, and cooking classes. Residents are given the opportunity to attend the local Men's Shed who gather every Thursday for woodworking and chats. We are fortunate to have regular live music performances on-site from local artists and musicians. We encourage our residents to engage in community activities and local events such as the Jandowae Show, Timbertown Festival and Anzac Day.
Meals on Wheels Service
We are partners with the Jandowae Meals on Wheels Inc delivering freshly prepared nutritious meals from our Kitchen to local vulnerable and ageing consumers in their homes. This service is accessible by our Independent Living Units residents with multiple funding options.
