Independent Living Units

Just behind our main facility, Taralga also has 14 Independent Living Units (ILU's).

These units are conveniently located within walking distance to the centre of Jandowae for shops, medical centre, post office and community centre. 

Our unit residents are also invited to attend facility events and activities, such as live music performances, barbeque, lunches and card games. Being a part of the Taralag family also gives our residnets support should they need it.

The units are made up of 6 x 1 bedroom and 8 x 2 bedroom units targeted for residents over 55 who must meet Community Housing age and income/asset test criteria for eligibility. Taralga is registered as a provider with the national registry for social and community housing.
